There’s definitely something special about stepping into Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa first thing in the morning. The elegant lobby, the fresh scent of pastries drifting through the air, and the soft background music set the perfect tone for a magical start to the day. If you’re looking start your day off magical look no further than 1900 Park Fare, at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here, and it was nothing short of magical!

Character Encounters

One of the highlights of 1900 Park Fare is the opportunity to meet some of Disney’s beloved characters while enjoying a delicious meal. During our visit, we got to see Princess Tiana – in her new outfit for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Mirabel – from Disney’s Encanto, Cinderella & Snow White. (Aladdin wasn’t able to make it so Snow White graciously filled his spot) Each character brought their own unique charm! Cinderella was graceful, Mirabel was full of energy and fun, Snow White with her sweet personality, and Princess Tiana as kind as you would imagine.

The character interactions were wonderful, with plenty of time for autographs, (you also receive an autograph card pictured below) photos, and even some fun conversations. If you are a Disney fan at heart (or have some kiddos) this is a must do experience!

The Breakfast Food

The breakfast buffet at 1900 Park Fare offers a variety of delicious options, but the famous Strawberry Soup was AH-mazing! In addition to the Strawberry Soup, the buffet included my favorite Mickey-shaped waffles (like seriously, they are made with the magic!) bacon, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit and more! See the breakfast menu here

The variety of options and the quality of the food made this a perfect meal for the whole family.

Final thoughts

Our experience was amazing! Between the character interactions, he elegant atmosphere of the Grand Floridian and the delicious food (Don’t skip the Strawberry Soup!) 1900 Park Fare is a fantastic choice for a character dining experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to start your Disney day with a bit of extra magic, this breakfast is well worth it. You can even continue the magic by hoping on the monorail to Magic Kingdom or Epcot. This would be one that our family would gladly experience again!
